I have some really cool louvered wooden doors from my classroom. Full sized doors. Any creative ideas?
I am really interested in turning them into a desk somehow for our office. I already know about turnig three into a room divider or partition. Any neat table or desk ideas?
Answer: Nice idea! As already stated, you would need to have glass made for the top of them (not very expensive from a glass place), fairly thick. If you want to go for that rustic type of look, you could use wooden saw horses as the base, and paint or stain it all to match each other.
You could use the louvers in the doors to hold things; maybe postcards, sentimental notes, cards, etc. using decorative clips or wood clothes pins. This way you have something to look through the glass at.
